INDORE-UJJAIN

After breakfast check out from the hotel, proceed to Annapurna Temple and Khajrana Ganesh Temple at Indore. Later proceed to Ujjain (60Kms / 2Hrs) Situated on the banks of the sacred river Shipra. Later, Mahakaleshwar Temple (one of the Twelve Jyotirlingas, is the most famous and vanerated Shiva Temple), Bade Ganeshji Ka Mandir, Sandeep Mahaamuni Ashram (Where Lord Krishna was educated with Balrama and Sudama from Maharshi Sandipani), Bhartrihari Caves, Mahakaleshwar Shaktipeeth, Kaal Bhairav Mandir (The Kal Bhairav Temple is popular for its alcohol consuming deity. Hundreds of devotees offer liquor as an offering to the deity, which the priest offers to it through a slit in the mouth) . Later Evening proceeds to Visit Mahakal Corridor (The corridor has around 200 statues ,108 Pillars and it is spread along the Rudra Sagar Lake with a total of eight forms of Lord Shiva available for Mahakal Lok Darshana). Dwarka lies in the westernmost part of India. It is one of the seven sacred cities known as the Mokshada, meaning ‘Bestower of Liberation’ and one of the Four Dhams. Vadodara, which used to be known as Baroda, is the third largest city in the Western Indian State of Gujarat, after Ahmedabad and Surat. It is located in the state of Gujarat, India. It is the world's tallest statue with a height of 182 metres (597 ft). It is located on a river island facing the Sardar Sarovar Dam on river Narmada in Kevadiya colony, 100 kilometres (62 mi) southeast of the city of Vadodara.

Maheshwar is located 13 km east of National Highway 3 and 91 km from Indore, the commercial capital of the Madhya Pradesh. The town lies on the north bank of the Narmada River and was the capital of the 'Holkar' clan of the Maratha Confederacy till they acceded to the Union of India. The name Maheshwar comes from Mahesh, Lord Shiva, which means in Hindi abode of Lord Mahesh. Maheshwar town is built on the site of the ancient city of Somvanshya Shastrarjun Kshatriya, and was the capital of King Kartavirya Arjuna.

Also known as Ujjayini, Ujjain is an ancient city of Malwa in central India, on the eastern bank of the Kshipra River. In ancient times the city was called Ujjayini as mentioned in the Mahabharata epic. Ujjayini was the capital of the Avanti Kingdom, and has been the Prime Meridian for Hindus since the 4th century BCE. Ujjain is one of the seven sacred cities of the Hindus and one of the four sites that host the Kumbh Mela, a mass pilgrimage that attracts millions of Hindu pilgrims from around the country. It is also home to the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, Jyotirlinga shrines to the god Shiva.

Omkareshwar

Omkareshwar

Omkareshwar is a Hindu temple dedicated to God Shiva, is one of the 12 revered Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. It is on an island called Mandhata in the Narmada River. The shape of the island is said to be like the Hindu symbol. There are two temples here, one to Omkareshwar and one to Amareshwar whose name means "Immortal lord" or "lord of the Immortals or Devas". As per Shiv Mahapuran, once Brahma and Vishnu had an argument in terms of supremacy. To examine them, Shiva pierced the three worlds as a huge endless pillar of light, the jyotirlinga.
