Arrive Chennai Airport / Railway Station. Upon arrival, Our representative will meet you and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon proceed on a sight seeing tour of the city visiting Kapaleshwar Temple, Fort St. George, Government Museum and Marina Beach- second largest beach in the world.
Morning departure to Tirupati (160 kms. / 3.5 hrs. ) and check into hotel. Later proceed to Tirumala hills ( 22 kms. ) Visit Lord Balaji. Richest God in the world visited by millions of devotees every year.
After Shri Balaji Darshan proceed to Kanchipuram ( 110 kms. / 2.5 hrs. ) Visit Shiv Kanchi and Vishnu Kanchi temples. Later drive to chennai (70kms./1.5hrs.). Check into Hotel.
In the morning, drive to Mahabalipuram (60 kms. / 1.5 hrs.). Visit Pallavas Panch Rathas, Arjun Shillanyas, Seashore temple. Later transfer to Chennai Airport / Railway Station for onward journey.
Tirupati is a major pilgrimage and cultural hub in the Chittoor district, Andra Pradesh. It is the largest city in the Rayalaseema region, located at the foothills of the Eastern Ghats. Tirupati is famous for the richest temple Venkateswara Swamy temple, which is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, located in the Tirumala hills. One of the most important pilgrimage centers in the world, the temple draws millions of pilgrims, every year and is the busiest pilgrimage centre in the world. Tirupati City itself has several temples, being also famous for its red wooden toys, copper and brass idols. City is a major economical and educational hub in the southern region.
Tirumala is a hill town in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, a pilgrimage center for Hindus, with its Sri Venkateswara Temple. Tirumala is dedicated to Maha Vishnu, Sri Rengam, Tirumala and other Archavathara Vishnu temples. In the town, there are seven peaks from the Seshachalam range that are part of Eastern Ghats. The seven peaks represent the hood of Adisesha, known as Seshadri, Neeladri, Garudadri, Anjanadri, Vrushabadri, Narayanadri and Venkatadri. The temple of Sri Venkateswara is itself on the seventh peak. "Tirumala" is the amalgamation of two words: Tiru, which means sacred or honorable and Mala, which means hill or peak in the Dravidian languages.
Chennai is the capital city of Tamil Nadu, located on the Coromandel Coast off the Bay of Bengal. Chennai is a major commercial, cultural, economic and educational center in India and also known as the Cultural Capital of South India. With the second largest port in India, Chennai had been part of successive South Indian kingdoms through centuries. Kanchipuram or Kanchi is a temple city, which served as the Capital city of the Pallava Kingdom. It is also known by "The City of Thousand Temples". Administrative headquarters of Kanchipuram district, it is located 72 kilometers from Chennai, the capital city of Tamil Nadu. Kanchipuram is considered one of the seven holiest cities to the Hindus of India and in Hinduism, a k?etra is a sacred ground, a field of active power, a place where moksha, final release can be obtained. Among the major Hindu temples, some are the most prominent Vishnu Temples and Shiva Temples of Tamil Nadu like the Varadharaja Perumal Temple for Vishnu. The city is also famous for its hand woven silk sarees.
