Welcome to your southern Travel best of Czech & Austria tour on arrival in Munich, your Southern Travels Manager will greet you at the 'meeting point' at the exit. After immigration and customs, transfer comfortably to your hotel (check-in after 1300 hrs). Overnight in Munich.
Today proceed on an orientation tour of Munich. Visit the Marienplatz and see the Town hall with its famous Clock tower. Later drive to Prague. On arrival proceed for Dinner. Overnight in Prague
Today on your guided walking tour of Prague, visit the 1000 year old Hradcany Castle, former residence of the Bohemian kings and St. Vitus Cathedral. Walk down from the Palace to Charles Bridge. We also visit the Old Town Square with its Town hall and Astronomical Clock, one of the outstanding sights in Prague. Enjoy free time in the Old Town. Overnight in Prague.
Today drive to Vienna, capital of Austria. On arrival, proceed on an orientation tour of Vienna. Drive on the Ring Boulevard and see the state Opera House, the Parliament, the City hall and the Burgtheatre. Make a photo stop at The Hofburg, The Winter residence of the Habsburg family and the Belvedere Palace- former Summer residence of Prince Eugene. Overnight in Vienna.
Today, drive Halstatt. Nestled between the edge of Hallstatter See and the towering Dachstein Mountains. Austria’s oldest and possibly most photographed village is something like mirage. Capture the delightful houses built into the mountain, the glasslike lake, and the amazing mountains in the background. Later drive to Salzburg for an Orientation tour. See the birthplace of the legendary Mozart, the Mirabell Palace with its landscaped gardens. Stroll along the Altstadt, which was recently granted World Heritage status by UNESCO. Overnight in Salzburg.
After breakfast we drive you to the airport for your flight back home. It’s time to say goodbye to all the new friends you have made. We hope you take back many happy memories of your holiday.
