Arrival in Madrid. Pick up your hire car and drive 62 miles to Segovia, whose old town and Roman aqueduct are World Heritage sites. Overnight stay in Segovia
DAY 2: Segovia - Avila
Breakfast. Drive 42 miles to Avila, according to records, the first settlement of Avila dates back to 700 BC and the first wall of the city was built with the arrival of the Romans. Overnight stay in Avila.
DAY 3: Avila - Toledo
Breakfast. Travel 115 miles south to Toledo – known as “The city of the three cultures” due to its history of Arabs, Jews and Christians living side by side and in great harmony and tolerance, for centuries. Overnight stay in Toledo
DAY 4: Toledo - Almagro
Breakfast. Today’s journey takes you to the little known town of Almagro, whose history is closely linked to that of the theatre. Overnight stay.
DAY 5: Almagro - Cuenca
Breakfast. Travel to Cuenca, a World Heritage Site, with its unique Hanging Houses, dominated by the ruins of an Arabian castle and a city of modern day and historical contrast. Overnight stay in Cuenca.
DAY 6: Cuenca - Sigüenza
Breakfast. Travel north again to Sigüenza, with its Romanesque origins and Gothic History. Overnight stay in Sigüenza.
DAY 7: Sigüenza – Madrid
Breakfast. Make your way back to Madrid in time for your flight. Drop off your hire car and farewell Madrid.
