BHUTAN THE DRAGON KINGDOM : Thimphu is the capital
city & Paro which is at a 2 hours drive from Thimphu is the only
airport in the country. Phuntsholing is an Indo-Bhutan border
town and is one of the entry point to Bhutan by surface.

DRINKING : Tuesdays is dry day in Bhutan and no alcohol is
served.
ENTERING / EXITINGBHUTANBY AIR
While collecting your airlines boarding pass you are given 02
forms at the Druk air counter namely :-
1. Embarkation & Disembarkation Card (form) You are required
to fill up the Form completely and submit the same to the
Authority. The concern officer retains the Disembarkation Card
and return the embarkation card back to you which is again
required while exiting Bhutan. Please do not lose this card.
2. Immigration form (Yellow form) You are required to fill and
submit this form at the immigration counter while getting the
entry permit at Bhutan airport.
3. Bhutan entry permit
a. For valid Passport holder - The Bhutan entry permit are
stamped on the passport itself. It is must to carry your passport
while traveling & taking inter point connection. You will not be
allowed to leave the country without stamping the exit on it.
b. For Election Id card - The Bhutan entry permit are issued
separately on papers after verifying Election Id card. This is a
must documents to be carried while travelling & taking inter point
connection. You are also advised to make photo copy for the
paper permit and keep it in safe custody as you will not be
allowed to leave the country without surrendering this paper
permit in original. This paper permit is also required to make the
Pink Permit for visiting any other area other than Thimphu & Paro.
Notes:
1. Point of first stay in Bhutan will be your address in Bhutan for
the Card.
2. With this entry permit one is allowed to visit Paro, Thimphu &
Phuntsholing. Separate Special permit are required to be
obtained to visit Punakha, Wangdi and above, which are issued
in lieu with the above entry permits at Thimphu only.
3. You are also advised to make photo copy for the paper
permit issued at Paro or Phuntsholing and keep it in safe custody
as you will not be allowed to leave the country without
surrendering this paper permit in original.
ENTERING / EXITINGBHUTANBY SURFACE
Bhutan entry permit are issue from the immigration office at
Phuntsholing only on working day (Monday - Friday) excluding
Saturday, Sunday & Bhutan national Holidays. (Kindly refer to the
Bhutan Holiday list for screening the Holidays of Bhutan)
1. You are required to visit the immigration office along with your
guide / driver at the Bhutan entry gate to obtain your Bhutan entry
permit. (Personal presence is amust for obtaining the permit)
2. For Surface travelers, Bhutan entry permit are issued
separately in papers after verifying the documents this is a must
documents to be carried while travelling & taking inter point
connection. You are also advised to make photo copy for the
paper permit and keep it in safe custody as you will not be
allowed to leave the country without surrendering this paper
permit in original This paper permit is also required to make the
Pink Permit for visiting any other area other than Thimphu & Paro.
This permit are issued in lieu of the documents in sequence
1) Duly filled entry form
2) Recent passport size photograph
3) Valid passport / Election Id card / Citizenship proof copy
Day 01: Arrival Kolkata
Afternoon arrival at Kolkata Railway Station / Airport - Transfer to
hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay.
Day 02 : Kolkata Sightseeing
After breakfast proceed to local sightseeing. Visit Kalighat Temple,
Birla Mandir, Indian Museum, Victoria Memorial, Eden Gardens*,
Birla Planetorium, Saheed Minar*, Raj Bhawan*, BBD Bagh, Writer’s
Building* GPO*, Howrah Bridge etc.
Day 03 : Kolkata Sightseeing.
After breakfast proceed to visit Belur Math, Dakshineshwar Kali
Temple, Science City, Nicco Park, Zoological Gardens etc. Overnight
stay.
Day 04 : Depart Kolkata
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and transfer to Railway
Station / Airport. Tour Concludes.
