Day 1
Arrival at Leh Airport

Arrive Leh. Upon arrival in Leh, Meet and assistance at the airport and transfer by car to Hotel. One is advised to take complete day rest for acclimatization and enjoy Leh Ladakh tour packages the next day. Leh - Ladakh : Ladakh at an high altitude of 11500 Ft. is a land like no other. Bounded by world's mightiest two mountain ranges, the Great Himalaya and the Karakoram, it lies athwart two others, the Ladakh range and the Zanskar range. Ladakh is also known as the land of passes. Leh full day sight seeing

After breakfast full day sightseeing of Shey, Thicksey & Hemis. Shey was the summer Palace of Ladakhi Kings,where you can see the 36Ft. high statue of Buddha made of copper and covered with gold. Thicksey: The twelve storeyed monastery of Thicksey is situated in the most prominent of positions, lies on an island of Mountain. Final visit; Hemis: Farthest way from Leh, and famous for Ladakh festival held in each summer and the important part of Leh tour package.. Evening return. Overnight stay.

Leh - Pangong Lake - Leh (280 Km / 10-11 hrs)

After early breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft high) through Changla Pass 17,350 ft high, is the third highest motorable road in the world. Arrive Pangong, it is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Enjoy Leh tour package with the beauty of the lake on the Banks of Pangong while appreciating the changing Colors and fascinating high altitude of the Lake. Drive back to Leh by the same route.     Once capital of the Himalayan kingdom of Ladakh, Leh is the second largest district in the country in terms of area. The town is still dominated by the now ruined Leh Palace, former mansion of the royal family of Ladakh. Leh connects via National Highway 1D connects it to Srinagar in the southwest and to Manali in the south via Leh-Manali Highway. Leh was important stopoveron trade routes along the Indus Valley between Tibet to the east, Kashmir to the west. The royal palace, known as Leh Palace in the city was built by King Sengge Namgyal, presumably between the periods when the Portuguese Jesuit priest, Francisco de Azevedo, visited Leh in 1631.
