Your Tour Itinerary
Day 01 : Departure fromDelhi
21:30 hrs. Departure to Haridwar (205 Kms). Night Journey.
Day 02 : Haridwar - Rishikesh - Barkot
05:00 hrs. Arrival at Haridwar. After Fresh up in Choultry / Hotel,
proceed to Rishikesh (24 Kms), Visit Shivananda Ashram, Ram
Jhoola, Swarg Ashram, Geeta Ashram, Lakshman Jhoola. After
lunch proceed to Barkot (216 Kms/ 7 hrs).
Day 03 : Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot
05:00 hrs. Departure to Hanumanchatti (32 Kms / 1.5 hrs). Later take
a local Jeep to Janakichatti to shorten your trek by 5 kms. Proceed to
Yamunotri temple by walk / pony / Doli. (Approximate charges for
both ways by hourse would be ` 800/- to `1200/- and doli ` 2,500/- to
3,500/- Approx). Return to Barkot.
Day 04 : Barkot - Uttarkashi
00:00 hrs. Leisure time till noon. After Lunch, Proceed to Uttarkashi
(100 Kms./ 4 hrs). Upon Arrival, Check into hotel.
Day 05 : Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi
07:00 hrs. : Departure to Gangotri (100 Kms./ 5 hrs). Upon arrival at
Gangotri, take a Holy Dip in the scared Ganges, Perform Pooja and
return to Uttarkashi.
Day 06 : Uttarkashi - Srinagar
07:00 hrs. Departure to Srinagar (160 kms./ 8 hrs). Upon arrival,
transfer to hotel.
Day 07 : Srinagar - Gupta Kashi - Rampur
05:00 hrs. After Breakfast, depart from Srinagar to Dhari Devi
Temple, Kaliya Saur (15 kms. / ½ hrs.). Later proceed to
Rudraprayag (18 Kms), the confluence point of 2 Holy rivers -
Alaknanda and Mandakini, have a Sangam view of Alknanda &
Mandakini and then drive to Okhimat (42 Kms ), visit Shri
Omkareshwar Temple (This is the place where the Pooja is
performed for 6months while the Kedarnath Shrine is closed).
Later drive to Gupta Kashi (10 Kms), visit Shri Kashi Viswanath
Temple (Arthanariswar Temple) and further to Rampur (24 Kms),
check into Hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight Stay.
Day 08 : Rampur - Kedarnath - Rampur
0500 hrs. : Depart to Gaurikund. Proceed to Kedarnath (19 Kms. by
Pony), After performing pooja & Darshan of Shri Kedarnath ji return
to Gaurikund and then to Rampur by Coach (16 Kms.) Overnight
stay.
Note: •
Incase you are travelling by Helicopter/Walk/Pony/Doli, the
return will be on the same day with night stay at Rampur.
Those who are travelling by Walk (19 Kms. approx. each way)
/Pony/Doli, have to start the trek early in the morning of Day 4, so that
you can come back on the same day.
• For those who are not able to go or get the Registration for visiting
Kedarnath, the alternative programme for Day 8 would be as follows:
Day 08 :
After breakfast, proceed to Triyuginarayan Temple (19 Kms
- one way), the Holy place where Lord Shiva and Parvathi got
married. Tourists will have to go there by local jeep. Later drive to
Complimentary
Cap
Gaurikund to visit Gauri Mata Temple. Then drive to Rampur, on the
way you may visit Mund Katiya Temple (Ganesh Temple) (3 Kms/ 20
Min.) Passengers will have to trek for 500 Mts. (One side) Which is a
narrow route. Return to Rampur. Evening visit Durga Temple at
Rampur - half a kilometer by trek. Overnight Stay.
The buses cannot ply /move in the places mentioned in the alternate
tour itinerary. The passengers will have to hire jeeps /cars available
locally, for which the cost will be approximately Rs. 250/- to 500/- per
head, which will be borne by the passengers.
Day 09 : Rampur - Badrinath
06:00 hrs. Departure to Badrinath (238 kms./ 12 hrs). Upon arrival,
check into hotel.
Day 10 : Badrinath - Pipalkoti
06:00 hrs. Morning after darshan of Shri Badrinath ji, visit Mana
village, the last village before the Indo - Tibetan border. After Lunch
drive to Pipalkoti (79 Kms./ 4 hrs). Upon arrival, check into hotel.
Day 11 : Pipalkoti - Haridwar
06:00 hrs. Departure to Haridwar (241 kms./ 10 hrs). Have Holy bath
in Ganges, and Harati in the Ganges at Hari-Ki-Pauri in the evening.
After dinner Proceed to Delhi. (205 Kms. / 5 hrs.). Night Journey.
Day 12 : Arrive Delhi.
04:00 hrs. Arrival at Delhi . Tour concludes.
Note:
• As per new government regulation due to last year calamity
only 200 persons are allowed to visit the shrine with a Pre-registration
per day. As per the information given by Tourism authorities only
tented accommodation are available at Kedarnath for emergencies
only.
